Welcome to section7training.com! I decided to put this business and site together for two reasons. First, because I spent a career trying to help people understand and apply the art of inter-agency cooperation and consultation and wanted to continue that work. And second, because I felt that the training currently available to practitioners of these disciplines often misses the forest for the trees.

I found myself motivated to create a training approach that fills in the gaps in traditional programs, that gets to the core of what practitioners really need to know. At the same time, I wanted my training to be widely available and easy to access. The result is this site and my first three “Essentials” courses -- Biological Assessment Essentials , Essentials of Section 7 Consultation , and Essentials of Programmatic Consultations. Each course is designed to complement existing institutional training opportunities for more extensive training in consultation and each is available in a live webinar format that can be accessed from anywhere.
